A 10-year-old girl, on her way to her grandmother’s house, was abducted and allegedly raped in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvallur district on July 12. India Today TV reached the crime spot and found out that the suspect had come by train and waited for the girl near the back entrance of the mango farm.
Even after the girl was assaulted several times and raped by the suspect, she escaped from his clutches and managed to save another child who was approaching the spot where the crime was committed.
The minor was walking along a path between two mango farms. The farms have large mango trees spaced out, and the ground is covered with untouched dried leaves and snakes.
The accused, who came by train, had wandered near the mango farm. He then saw the child walking on the road and began following her, before kidnapping him and taking her to one of the mango farms.
Before kidnapping the child, he reportedly made a woman, who was waiting for her relative to pick her up, uncomfortable due to his suspicious movements.
At the mango firm, the accused beat up the child multiple times, reportedly bit her in multiple areas and raped her. The minor tried to escape, but the suspect dragged her back and thrashed her again.
Amid the chaos, the suspect received phone calls and the ringtone reportedly resembled a Hindi song. As the accused got distracted by the phone call, the minor made a final attempt to escape. She then ran on the road, saw another girl walking towards her and stopped her, before they escaped.
