Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were all set to make their much-anticipated debut as a couple on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. However, according to reports, the shoot was abruptly cut short due to a medical emergency involving Raghav’s mother.
As reported by IANS, Raghav’s mother, who was present on set, began to feel unwell during filming. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, prompting the couple to leave the shoot midway. The production team reportedly halted filming on priority.
This was to be the first joint television appearance for Parineeti and Raghav since their wedding in 2024. The actor has remained largely out of the public eye since, making this appearance especially awaited by fans.
The current season of Kapil Sharma’s show has hosted a wide range of celebrities, including Salman Khan, Anupam Kher, and cricketer Rishabh Pant. The episode featuring Parineeti and Raghav is now expected to be rescheduled once the situation permits.
Parineeti was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ and has wrapped up a Netflix project. As of now, there is no official word on Raghav’s mother’s condition, and well-wishers are hoping for a swift recovery.
