PM Modi to visit UK, Maldives from July 23–26; Malé outreach, bilateral relations among agenda
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a two-nation visit to the United Kingdom and the Maldives from July 23 to 26, the ministry of external affairs (MEA) said on Sunday. This will be his fourth visit to the UK and first since 2018. He will meet British PM Keir Starmer to discuss trade, defence, climate, and innovation. 2 Indians killed, 1 abducted in Niger terror attack; Omar Abdullah seeks MEA intervention
Two Indian nationals were killed and one, Ranjeet Singh from J&K’s Ramban district, was abducted in a terror attack in Niger’s Dosso region last Tuesday. Armed assailants ambushed a Nigerien army unit guarding an electrical line project. Putin open to Ukraine peace talks, says committed to achieve ‘main goal’
