Earlier this year, in 2025, Bigg Boss OTT 3 winner, Sana Makbul, made headlines after she was hospitalised a few days before her birthday on June 13, 2025. However, Sana has recently faced a mid-air crisis when her flight from Jodhpur to Mumbai, made an emergency landing in Ahmedabad. The TV actress took to her Instagram Stories to share her ordeal of what she faced on her way back from a quick work trip to Mumbai. There were some technical issues for which the flight unexpectedly diverted to Ahmedabad.
Sana Makbul reassures her fans that she is safe
On July 19, 2025, Sana took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that her flight from Jodhpur to Mumbai had made an emergency landing in Ahmedabad as a precautionary measure due to sudden technical issues. Luckily, the actress didn’t have any check-in luggage, thus, could take another flight from Ahmedabad to Mumbai and reach home safely. However, there were other co-passengers who got stuck in the Ahmedabad airport. Sharing her worry about why these things are happening and demanding a solution to the problem, Sana said:
“I don’t know what is happening with the world and I don’t know what is happening with all the aircrafts, but we need a solution for this.”
Sana Makbul shares her gratitude to those who ensured that she reached home safely
In her Instagram Stories, Sana also extended her gratitude to those who ensured that she reached her home in Mumbai safely. She especially mentioned the IndiGo staff and the pilot who made a safe emergency landing in Ahmedabad. She shared how the pilot of the Jodhpur-Mumbai flight made a quick and timely decision that ensured the safety of all passengers on board. In her words:
“By God’s grace, everything went smoothly. I was able to catch another flight to Mumbai, and I’m thankful to the IndiGo team and the pilot for handling the situation so well.”

Sana Makbul Khan, popularly known as Sana Makbul, was born on June 13, 1993, in Mumbai. She completed her schooling at Mumbai Public School and then pursued her graduation from R. D. National College in Mumbai, Maharashtra. After completing her graduation, she developed an interest in modelling and acting. Sana entered the world of glamour as a model. She appeared in many TV serials, including Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Aadat Se Majboor, and Vish, among others.
