Fast bowler Anshul Kamboj has been added to the India squad for the ongoing Test series against England as a cover for the injured Arshdeep Singh. India and England are set to lock horns in the fourth match of the series from July 23 at Old Trafford in Manchester. However, ahead of the fixture, India are dealing with an injury blow to Arshdeep, who got a cut on his bowling arm while stopping the ball during practice.
Hence, acccording to reports, Anshul Kamboj has been added as a cover for Arshdeep. Kamboj was a part of the India A squad, which took on England Lions ahead of the senior men’s Test series. The right-arm seamer picked five wickets across two unofficial Tests and also scored a half-century in the second match.
