NEW DELHI: The Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) unit of the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday carried out searches at 10 locations across four districts of the Kashmir Valley in connection with a terror-crime investigation.According to the CIK, the raids are linked to a case involving terrorist sleeper cells and a recruitment module allegedly operated from across the border by Jaish-e-Mohammed commander Abdullah Ghazi. The searches were conducted at one location in Pulwama, six in Ganderbal, one in Srinagar, and two in Budgam. Officials said the action is part of an ongoing probe into cross-border efforts to revive terrorism in the region through local networks.Further details about the findings from the raids are awaited.
