Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara hit theatres today (July 18). The Yash Raj Films-backed project features two fresh faces – Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. Interestingly, even without any promotional campaigns involving the debutant leads, the film has managed to create substantial buzz before its release. On the day of its premiere, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar praised the makers for challenging the conventional notion of film marketing.

Madhur Bhandarkar is the filmmaker known for directing several critically acclaimed and award-winning movies, including Chandni Bar, Fashion, Page 3, and Traffic Signal.
Meanwhile, filmmaker Hansal Mehta took to his X account to commend Mohit Suri. He wrote, “Your moment has arrived @mohit11481. All the very best for Saiyaara. May your passion and love for movies and music be rewarded in all deserving ways. Much love.”
The musical romance marks the debut of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. Songs from the film, including the title track and Barbaad, have become popular among fans on social media. The film’s music has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Arslan Nizami, and Faheem Abdullah. The movie is produced by Akshaye Widhani, CEO of Yash Raj Films.
