Books meet Broadway in Lily Chu‘s latest summer read listen.
Chu’s Rich Girl Summer is exclusively on Audible with dual-narration from actors and real-life husband and wife Phillipa Soo and Steven Pasquale. Available for listening now, the sizzling summer story is the no. 1 new release in Multicultural Romance on Amazon, and joins a larger collection of Lily Chu’s Audible Original audiobooks (and physical books).
Soo, best known for her performance in the Broadway musical Hamilton (and Disney+ live stage recording), takes on the role of Valerie Peng, an event planner who agrees to pose as her wealthy client’s long-lost daughter to help him unearth an old family secret. In the process, Peng finds herself romantically entangled with her client’s (wildly handsome) right-hand man, Nico Hever, narrated by Pasquale. Rich Girl Summer marks Soo’s fifth time narrating a Lily Chu Audible Original.
