Sinister sparkles and silly side parts stormed the red carpet at the 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards on Thursday night in Los Angeles, where artists, influencers and reality stars alike honored this year’s most unforgettable moments in pop culture. Outside the Orpheum Theater, attendees made the red carpet their main stage, drawing outside the lines of mod beauty trends to epitomize their unique personas with bold, albeit whimsical, hair and makeup looks.
While some, such as Quinta Brunson and Alison Brie, opted for soft glam, others, like Remi Wolf and Julio Torres, put their playful characters on full display, donning heavy eye shadow and intricate hairdos.
Ahead, WWD breaks down all the best beauty moments from comedian Megan Stalter to Mindy Kaling.

Wolf morphed into a Y2K cowgirl, mixing cheetah print with shimmery blue eye shadow that traveled across her lids and under her eyes. The 29-year-old singer conveyed her childlike wonder through the statement-making makeup, comprised of coral-toned blush, bushy brows and a brown lip.
Julio Torres
Julio Torres coats his face in silver shadow at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards in Los Angeles.
Torres, the writer and comedian known for his eccentric makeup, turned himself into an intergalactic vampire, wearing spells of silver and purple shadow on his forehead, nose and under-eyes. His eyebrows were undercut with a melting pot of purple and red pigments, while his bottom lip boasted what was meant to look like a drop of blood. Adding to the theatrics of his visage, Torres plucked the petals from a single-stemmed rose on the carpet.
Megan Stalter

Stalter partnered her Diet Coke box bandeau top with a crown of pinned blond curls. The comedian bleached yellow locks, styled by celebrity hair architect Clayton Hawkins, fell to her left shoulder; the curled ends intact. Designed by Alexandra French, Stalter’s makeup was complete with misty black shadow, dark liner in her waterline and a matte lip.
Alison Brie

Brie took her curls to new volumes, adding straightened forehead bangs for dimension. Hair artist Ricky Fraser teased her medium brown tresses with blond highlights to create the full look; however, he was careful not to lose the shape of the wide waves in the process. Her makeup, styled by Molly Greenwald, consisted of peach-colored blush on the high points of her cheeks and subtle shimmer on her eyes to match her metallic dress.
Mindy Kaling
Mindy Kaling opts for a bold, glossy lip at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards at The Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles.
Kaling matched the backdrop of the red carpet on Thursday night with a glossy purple lip and rosy blush on her cheeks. Kaling partnered with her go-to makeup artist, Alyssa Marie, whose client list includes a slew of social media influencers and podcast hosts such as Barstool’s Brianna LaPaglia. Marie drew dark eyeshadow on Kaling’s lids and added wispy lash extensions to the outer corners of her eyes. Her hair was parted on the side and tucked behind her shoulders.
Quinta Brunson
Quinta Brunson styles soft glam on the Las Culturistas Culture Awards red carpet.
Brunson opted for a no-makeup, makeup look. Her complexion, like her pixie cut, was clean, embellished with touches of pink blush and highlighter. For her eyes, Brunson chose a dusty pink shadow and no eyeliner. Meanwhile, her lips were lined with a deep red-brown liner and filled with a clear gloss.
