The teaser for Sarzameen, starring Kajol, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, was officially unveiled earlier this month, sparking excitement among viewers who are eager to see the trio share the screen. The film is set for a direct OTT release later this month.

Kajol will be seen working with Ibrahim Ali Khan for the first time, having previously collaborated with his father, Saif Ali Khan. The actress drew a comparison between the father-son duo, reflecting on her experiences with both.
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kajol spoke highly of both Ibrahim Ali Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s on-screen charisma, noting that while they share a magnetic screen presence, their approaches on set are quite different. She said, “Camera loves both of them. They both have this X-factor in them. Saif is more of a ‘main character energy’ kind of person. Ibrahim, on the other hand, was much more reserved on set. I think he was trying to stay in character at that moment and be quiet and reserved.”
Kajol and Saif Ali Khan have shared the screen in several notable films over the years. Their first collaboration was in the 1994 romantic drama Yeh Dillagi, where they starred alongside Akshay Kumar. They teamed up again for the action drama Bambai Ka Babu in 1996, followed by Hameshaa in 1997. Years later, they reunited in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020).
Sarzameen, starring Kajol, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Ibrahim Ali Khan, is an intense drama that revolves around an army officer’s unwavering determination to combat terrorism in Kashmir. The teaser showcases a tense face-off between Ibrahim and Prithviraj, hinting at the film’s high-stakes conflict.
Fans have been especially intrigued by Ibrahim’s striking new look—he appears as a brooding, bearded figure, exuding intensity. In the final moments of the teaser, Ibrahim is seen approaching Prithviraj from behind with a gun aimed at him, setting the tone for a gripping confrontation between their characters.
The story and script of Sarzameen are penned by Soumil Shukla and Arun Singh, with Karan Johar producing the film. It is directed by Kayoze Irani and is set to premiere on JioHotstar on July 25.
On the work front, Kajol was last seen in Maa, while Ibrahim Ali Khan recently made his acting debut in Nadaaniyan.
