Casetify and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami continue their collaborative partnership with characters Kaikai and Kiki fronting new product designs from the Hong Kong-based tech accessories brand. The second chapter in the collaboration features new phone cases, suitcases, danglers, phone charms and more.

The collection, which launches globally on Thursday, features fresh colorways and playful designs that bring to life Murakami’s characters. Symbolizing innocence and mischief in equal measure, characters Kaikai and Kiki appear on such pieces as Casetify’s first ultra-limited pink camera ring and the pink Casetify travel carry-on.

“I’m delighted to see our collaboration with Takashi Murakami reach even greater heights with the arrival of Kaikai and Kiki to the Casetify family,” said Wesley Ng, chief executive officer and cofounder of Casetify.

Casetify’s first collaboration with Takashi Murakami dropped last April. “After the incredible success of our Mr. Dob collection, I’m thrilled to see fans around the world have the opportunity to enjoy more of this unique and special partnership. We are offering our customers some products they have never seen before, once again proving our ability to continue to both delight and inspire,” Ng said.

Along with the animated characters, another design element of Murakami’s style appears as a motif throughout the collection: flowers. Aside from the vibrant tech accessories, Casetify features three-dimensional AirPod holders designed like Kaikai and Kiki, adding yet another playful element to the collection.

“I’m delighted that the next chapter of this collection has come to life on the modern canvas of Casetify,” said artist Takashi Murakami. “Among my characters, Kaikai and Kiki are the only twin figures, embodying charm, mischief and a full spectrum of emotions,” Murakami said.

“I look forward to seeing how this collaboration with Casetify further brings out their unique appeal.”

Casetify’s continued collaboration with Takashi Murakami is just one of several partnerships the tech accessories brand has formed since its founding in 2011. In February, Casetify collaborated with edgy fashion label Diesel on a series of phone, tablet and laptop cases. Casetify previously collaborated with such brands as Barbie, Sonny Angel and more.
