However, fans were left worried when news reports claimed that he had a heart attack few days ago, which left his fans worried. Aasif has now been discharged from the hospital and addressed the reports of his health scare.
Aasif Khan reveals he didn’t have a heart attack
Aasif Khan was admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital of Mumbai this week, following reports of his heart attack. He shared a photo from his room and mentioned that he had been required to stay in the hospital. After completing his stay, the actor was recently discharged from the hospital. Now, Aasif Khan sat down for an interview with The Times of India and confirmed that he didn’t have a heart attack. Sharing more details about his health, Aasif said:
“So first of all, I want to clarify—it was not a heart attack. It was gastroesophageal reflux disease. The symptoms felt like a heart attack, but I’m totally fit.”
Although Aasif didn’t have a major health scare, the incident has brought attention to his underlying health issues. Consequently, the doctors have advised him to change his diet and avoid certain foods types which can have a negative impact on his health. Moreover, the Panchayat actor has been asked to exercise more and take care of his health. But Aasif clarified that his health scare will have no impact on his work. In his words:
“I’ve been told to stop eating dal baati, limit my non-veg, and work out more. I don’t think it should impact my work. Something or the other happens in everyone’s life. People move on.”
Aasif Khan shares details about his stay in the hospital
Aasif Khan continued his stay in the hospital for a couple of days, which gave him some time away from the digital world. He shared that he didn’t use the phone during that time, which surprisingly made him feel good. However, the countless messages from fans moved him emotionally. Aasif revealed that several fans expressed concern and wished for his good health. In turn, it will take him a month to reply to all those texts.

Aasif Khan learnt an important lesson from his health scare
Earlier, when Aasif Khan shared his first update from the hospital, he revealed that staying in the hospital for more than two days gave him some important life lessons. He realised that life is short and every day should be valued. The actor expressed that one must always keep in mind that life can change at any moment, and remember who is important in our life and value them. He penned:
“Everything can change in a moment. Be grateful for all you have and all that you are. Remember who is more important to you and always cherish them. Life is a gift, and we are blessed.”
