Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD) marked fourteen years on July 15. The film’s theme of male bonding remains dewdrop fresh. Fans of the cult film have clamoured for a sequel for years.

Farhan, who played one of the leads, said that he is aware of the clamour for a follow up. “But we need to justify the sequel,” he said. “It would be interesting to see what the three friends (played by Farhan, Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol) are doing with their lives after so many years.”

Farhan recalls the ZNMD experience with pleasure. “The film was shot extensively in Spain. All of us-Zoya, Hrithik, Abhay, Katrina (Kaif), Kalki (Koechlin) and me…became this little commune travelling across Spain. We travelled a lot. Spain has everything from beaches to mountains. We made sure every scene was fun. Abhay, Hrithik and I spent a lot of time together. We really had some serious fun. Hrithik, I knew for a long time. Abhay I got to know during this film. He’s a very cool guy,” he said.
