Food delivery platform Zomato has unveiled a new advertising campaign featuring prominent Indian personalities—actor Shah Rukh Khan, composer AR Rahman, boxer Mary Kom, and cricketer Jasprit Bumrah. The ad has gained attention across digital platforms for its high-profile casting and message around effort and persistence.

The one-minute film, shared by Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal on social media, presents a series of visuals that combine scenes of the four celebrities in action with archival footage from their respective careers. Actor Shah Rukh Khan is seen seated in a formal setup, AR Rahman is shown composing music, Mary Kom is portrayed training in a boxing ring, and Jasprit Bumrah is seen preparing in a gym-like environment.
The voiceover narrates a central theme around discipline and determination: “What’s their secret ingredient? The taste of sweat, the salt of tears. They wake up when it’s dark, show up when it’s hard… There is no secret recipe. They just want it more.” The film ends with the statement: “The secret ingredient is hustle. Fuel your hustle. Zomato.”

Deepinder Goyal, while sharing the video, clarified that the campaign was designed to communicate a broader philosophy rather than focus only on food. “This isn’t an ad. It’s a belief in effort over everything else… We’re not here to celebrate the stars, but the fire that built them… Food is just the fuel,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
