Farah Khan recently visited the lavish Mumbai residence of Jackky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh, which turned into an unexpectedly hilarious and heartfelt conversation about the highs and lows of showbiz — all served with a side of culinary fun and unfiltered humour.

Known for her quick wit, Farah didn’t hold back as she teased Jackky over his lavish lifestyle and recent box office setback. Accompanied by her personal home chef, Dilip, Farah was enjoying the couple’s elegant kitchen when she jokingly declared, “Humko bhi producer banna hai!” prompting immediate laughter.
Jackky, ever the sport, responded with a cheeky twist, “Producer nahi ban na, real estate (Don’t become a producer, do real estate).” Not one to miss a punchline, Farah delivered her comeback with classic comic timing: “Sorry, haan, humko producer nahi ban na hai, hum real estate karna hai, kyunki pehle inke 10 floor the, producer banne ke baad sirf 5 bache hai (Sorry, We don’t want to be producers anymore, let’s do real estate, because in the past they had 10 floors but now they only have 5)!” The entire room, including Rakul and the rest of the crew, burst into laughter.
While the banter was light-hearted, the context behind was based on a few reports that were doing the rounds after the release of Jackky’s last big-budget film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. It seems that the film, which reportedly underperformed at the box office, was mounted on a massive Rs 350 crore budget but it earned only around Rs 111.5 crore worldwide. As per several media reports, the Bhagnani family even sold their seven-floor Mumbai office building to cover debts reportedly nearing Rs 250 crore.
In the same vlog, Jackky spoke candidly about the challenges faced by his father, veteran producer Vashu Bhagnani and added, “He used to sell saris on the footpath… he’s seen many failures. He always starts again. For him, the show must go on,” Jackky shared.
