Beyonce is an American singer, songwriter, actress and businesswoman. She is one of the most gifted voices in the global music industry and is often dubbed as ‘Queen Bey’ by her fans. She is regarded as one of the most culturally significant figures of the 21st century and has built a massive name for herself in the past three decades. However, with fame comes a lack of privacy and sometimes it can be a huge problem. A similar incident occurred when the singer was in Atlanta for her Cowboy Carter tour, and her unreleased work was stolen.
Beyonce’s personal items and unreleased material were stolen
Beyonce was in Atlanta for her upcoming shows when a serious breach left everyone shocked. It was on July 15, 2025, when reports went rife that the singer’s several unreleased tracks, confidential footage, and concert-related material were reportedly stolen from a vehicle connected to the singer’s tour team. According to an Atlanta Police Department report, the incident occurred on July 8, 2025, two days before Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter tour began its four-night residency at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The information on the matter was shared only now, as it was deemed extremely sensitive.
The Atlanta Police Department shared the details of the robbery
According to the police report, five thumb drives were stolen and contained unreleased music, concert setlists, and show plans. The materials were said to be inside a rental vehicle used by Beyonce’s choreographer, Christopher Grant and dancer, Diandre Blue. Additionally, the thieves stole two MacBook laptops, Apple headphones, designer clothes, and personal belongings. The event has left everyone concerned, considering the singer’s status.
According to the police, the duo, Christopher and Diandre, parked their 2024 Jeep Wagoneer at a popular Atlanta food hall around 20:09 on July 8, 2025. They returned an hour later only to find the vehicle’s rear window smashed and two suitcases missing. In the official report, Christopher Grant informed authorities that along with the personal items, unreleased tracks and concert plans, he was also carrying some sensitive personal information for the musician Beyonce.

The police have been on the matter since the report was filed, and surveillance footage reportedly captured the theft. The CCTV showed a possible suspected vehicle, which was identified as a red 2025 Hyundai Elantra. The forensic team has also found light fingerprints at the scene, and police were able to track some of the missing electronics using location services. While officers followed digital signals to a nearby area, it’s unclear if the stolen data has been recovered or if the suspects have been caught. Nonetheless, the Atlanta Police Department recently confirmed that an arrest warrant has been secured for a suspect, though their identity has not yet been disclosed publicly.
Beyonce, who launched her Cowboy Carter tour on April 28, 2025, is set to wrap up the North American leg with two Las Vegas shows later in July 2025. The tour supports her chart-topping country-inspired album, Cowboy Carter and has drawn huge crowds across the U.S. and Europe. July 14, 2025, marked her final performance in Atlanta.
