Sydney Sweeney’s invite to Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos’ wedding now makes even more sense.
The “Euphoria” star is reportedly launching a new lingerie line “very soon,” with Sánchez and Bezos financially backing her new venture as investors, a source told Us Weekly Monday.
“This has been a huge project for her and something she’s been working on for the last year,” the insider said.
Bezos is said to have even more involvement as the lingerie line is being backed by Ben Schwerin, a partner at private equity firm Coatue.
Coatue recently got a $1 billion boost from Bezos and fellow tech tycoon Michael Dell through their Coatue Innovation Fund, the Economic Times reported.
Sweeney’s rep didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The 27-year-old actress already has experience with designing. In 2023, she teamed up with Frankies Bikinis on a swimwear collection inspired by Italian summer romance, which the brand billed as as its “sexiest ever” in the press release.
Sweeney starred in the stunning ad campaign, modeling a jaw-dropping halter bikini and seductively posing in a white lace two-piece.
“It’s powerful to show the world you are unapologetically yourself,” she told Elle at the time. “We wanted pieces that made people feel confident and free in their bodies.”
Last month, the “Anyone But You” star made waves at Sánchez and Bezos’ wedding in Venice, where she spent time with Orlando Bloom and Tom Brady during the nuptials.
While some speculated about Sweeney’s connection to the couple, Megyn Kelly claimed it was her chest size that got her the invite.
“Sydney Sweeney’s the new toast of the town out there because she’s got these enormous breasts that everybody’s obsessed with,” the journalist said on “The Megyn Kelly Show.”
But Page Six learned that Sweeney was invited to the wedding because she’s starring in an upcoming movie for Amazon MGM Studios.
Sweeney “is not friends with either one of them,” but attended the three-day festivities “to pay respects to the ‘boss,’ just like in the old days of Hollywood,” a source told us.
