Dharma Productions has officially kick-started the promotional campaign for one of its most anticipated releases of 2025 — Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. The makers unveiled the first-look posters of lead pair Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, reuniting after their 2023 film Bawaal. The posters have sparked a wave of excitement online, setting the tone for what promises to be a quirky, larger-than-life romantic comedy.

Taking to social media, Dharma Productions introduced Varun Dhawan as Sunny, calling him “Sanskari” in gold-stamped typography against a glittering background. Clad in an embroidered beige shirt, stacks of gold jewellery, oversized tinted sunglasses, and a folded-hand ‘namaste’ pose, Varun exudes loud charisma and self-aware desi drama. The caption featured a hilariously clichéd Hindi shayari, “Sunny Sanskari ki shaayari – ‘Yeh aansoon hain mere, samundar ka jal nahin… Baarish ka kya bharosa, aaj hai…kal nahi!!!’”
On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor looks dazzling as Tulsi Kumari in a shimmering golden saree and intricately worked blouse. With open curls and subtle glam, her look strikes the perfect blend of tradition and flair. Her poster is equally dramatic in tone, teasing her personality with the line – “Dikhne mein bholi bhaali, chanchal pyaari… Lekin andar se melodramatic like Meena Kumari!!!”
The posters have quickly gone viral across platforms, with fans celebrating the return of the Varun-Janhvi pairing. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is helmed by Shashank Khaitan, known for hits like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and is expected to deliver the same blend of romance, humor, and vibrant storytelling.
The film also features an impressive ensemble including Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul and Akshay Oberoi, adding further buzz to the project. Set for a grand theatrical release on October 2, 2025, the film will benefit from the Dussehra festivities as well as the Gandhi Jayanti national holiday.
