    Veteran actor B Saroja Devi, a towering figure in Indian cinema across languages, died at the age of 87 in Bengaluru due to age-related ailments. Known for her prolific work in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi films, she was one of the earliest pan-Indian female stars whose career shaped the golden era of South Indian cinema. Her death has left a void across industries, with prominent stars and colleagues paying heartfelt tributes on social media.

    After actors Rajinikanth and Khushbu Sundar offered their condolences, actor Shiva Rajkumar personally visited the late actor’s residence to offer his respects to the family.

    Remembering her with deep emotion, he told the media, “We cannot forget her. She was a good person. She showed love and affection like a mother. I can say that I have lost my mother…”
