Veteran actor Kiran Kumar recently opened up about his experience of working with Amitabh Bachchan, reflecting on the megastar’s legendary work ethic, humility, and dedication to his craft. During an interaction on Red FM Podcasts, Kumar, who shared screen space with Bachchan in the 1992 film Khuda Gawah, described the iconic actor as someone whose energy and presence are infectious.

“Working with Amitabh Bachchan is like working with a virus,” Kiran said. “He is such a great actor and his passion is so great that he gets into your bloodstream. Once you work with him, it’s very difficult to get out of his aura, especially the way he treats you.”
He also recalled Bachchan’s professionalism during action scenes, saying, “Some actors won’t react if a villain is beating them in films, but not Amitabh Bachchan. Amit Ji would respond to every punch I gave him—he would recoil by two feet with each blow. He’s such a wonderful actor and so well-informed. You can talk to him about anything under the sun. But one thing I’ve learnt is—you speak to him only when he wants to speak to you.”
Besides Big B, Kiran also shared his experience of working with Sridevi. He recalled shooting the climax of Khuda Gawah, “In the climax, I’m running. Amit ji and Sridevi are riding horses on either of my sides. They lift me up and then throw me off a mountain. That’s how Pasha dies. But as they lifted me up and continued to ride the horses, one of the horse knuckles hit my leg which then swelled up.”
On the work front, he was last seen in Vettaiyan, a Tamil-language action drama that also featured superstar Rajinikanth. He also recently announced the new season of his long-running game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC 17).
