Kajol is one of the most successful actresses in Bollywood, and her life has always been under the media spotlight. However, rather than staying silent, the actress and her husband, Ajay Devgn, have been vocal in calling out the media for following their young children. In a recent interview, Kajol once again shared how her kids, especially her daughter, have been ‘hounded by the media’, which has taken an emotional toll on her kids.

Kajol slams the paparazzi for following her kids, Nysa and Yug

Kajol, who is the headlines for her upcoming release, Sarzameen, recently sat down for a conversation with the Hindustan Times. During the conversation, she discussed how her kids, Nysa and Yug have been growing up under intense media attention. As a mother, she admired her children, showing a lot of grace and calmness to handle the attention than she ever could. Sharing how they have talked about the growing paparazzi presence around her kids, Kajol said:

“We’ve had a lot of conversations over it, and I know for a fact that my daughter especially has been hounded [by cameras] since she was 14 or 15, which is not correct. It was not right.”

Since the paparazzi frequently follow Nysa and Yug, Kajol shared that her kids always go along with security. It often restricts them from doing a lot of things which they would have done in the absence of media. However, the actress revealed that her daughter, Nysa, who is in her early 20s, has learnt to adapt and face the scrutiny with more grace. They understand that they don’t have any choice other than to adjust their mindset and face it.
