Stylist Brett Alan Nelson collaborated with Adidas to make the musician’s custom ensemble for the major soccer match in which Chelsea FC beat Paris Saint-Germain.
Doja Cat’s hybrid footwear style reinvented the popular Samba style for the stage, showcasing the T-toe design in front but sharpening it like a classic pump silhouette. Additional sneaker elements included a tongue and laces as well as the brand’s signature three stripes. The upper cut away about midway through to transition into a strappy slingback design, which also included a strap wrapping the front of the ankle. The set was propped up by a thin stiletto heel. A red and white colorway matched Doja Cat’s knee-high Adidas socks, which further emphasized her athletic aesthetic.
This custom look joins the ranks of other heel-hybrid creations, such as Sneex, created by Sara Blakely and beloved by Gayle King.

Doja Cat also wore a custom Adidas minidress embellished with Swarovski crystals; it was a sporty and feminine garment with sparkling purple and red vertical stripes, Adidas branding and “VIE” written on the front. The silhouette was fitted with a dramatic sweetheart neckline and thigh slits.
