A small aircraft crashed at London Southend Airport on England’s southeast coast on Sunday afternoon, authorities said. It was a Beech B200 Super King Air passenger plane, which was headed to the Netherlands. 

Videos of the crash have emerged on social media, showing huge plumes of black smoke billowing from the crash site.  

Essex Police said it was alerted shortly before 4 pm to reports of a collision involving a 12-metre plane. 

The East of England Ambulance Service said it deployed four ambulances and other emergency vehicles to the scene.
