A 40-year-old Russian woman and her two young daughters were found living in a remote cave in Karnataka’s Ramatirtha Hills near Gokarna. Driven by a deep interest in Hindu philosophy, she had reportedly been meditating in isolation for nearly two weeks. The family was discovered by Gokarna police during a routine patrol after a recent landslide. Authorities have now relocated them to a shelter and are coordinating with the Russian Embassy to address visa violations and ensure their safe return.
