Radhika Merchant officially became ‘Mrs. Anant Ambani’ on July 12, 2024. The couple recently celebrated their one-year anniversary of their biggest wedding on the planet. It made headlines all over the world. The highlight of Radhika’s beautiful celebration was how she gate-crashed her groom, Anant’s baraat. Radhika’s unique wedding ring has her and her husband’s initials. We got a glimpse of the unique ring in a picture from her vidai ceremony. The bride wore Manish Malhotra’s gorgeous lehenga. Radhika flaunted her mehendi, but our eyes are set on her wedding ring.
The diamond ring had her and her husband, Anant’s, initials in diamonds with a cutesy heart in the middle. The highlight of the ring was that the initials were on the back of the ring, which would only be seen when she showed her palm.

Talking about Radhika’s bridal look, she chose her favourite designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s wedding outfit. Keeping up with the Gujarati tradition of brides wearing red and white, Radhika picked a Panetar-styled lehenga. Her outfit had ivory zardozi cutwork, which consisted of a trailing ghagra layered with a detachable trail.
The outfit also had a 5-meter head veil and dupatta. The look was completed with a fully embroidered red shoulder dupatta that uplifts the silhouette with its maximal drama. She accentuated her look with a second fully embroidered red shoulder dupatta that added the needed stars. Radhika accentuated her look with a huge diamond and emerald neckpiece, a choker, matching earrings, and a maang teeka. Another highlight of her look was her gorgeous ‘AR’ brooch made in diamonds and sapphire, which she pinned on her dupatta.
However, it was Radhika’s jewellery that had her family’s blessings. She wore her heirloom jewels, which were passed down from generation to generation in the Merchant family. Before Radhika, it was her sister, Anjali, who wore the choker, which had been worn by their mother and their nani. Not only this, Radhika wore her sister’s polki earrings, maang teeka and haath phool with her red and white bridal lehenga.

Earlier, in an interview with Vogue, Radhika Merchant talked about her and Anant Ambani’s first meeting and shared that they were introduced by mutual friends during a long drive in 2017. Their first meeting sparked something special between them, and soon, they started dating. Later, Anant proposed to Radhika for marriage at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, in 2023. The duo had a Goldhana ceremony, which was followed by a surprise engagement party at Antilia. Talking about the same, Radhika said:
“It was, unquestionably, the best night of my life.”
