When it comes to Ja Morant’s signature Nike line, there is no shortage of themes and storytelling. Now on his third model, Morant’s shoes often feature concepts which tie back to his personal life. One constant in the series has been Halloween-inspired designs and now, we know the spooky styles will continue on the Nike Ja 3.

Newly shared images show the Nike Ja 3 Halloween in detail, including its numerous custom features and glow-in-the-dark capabilities. Using a predominantly neon green colorway with a tie-dye effect, the Ja 3’s vertical Swoosh features a red border with red “twelve” embroidery on the heels. 

A fang-like dubrae spells out Morant, while brown shoelaces slightly tone down the bright green look. “Zombie” is scrawled on the insole, which also features a zombie-like depiction of Morant. And when the lights go down, the Ja 3 Halloween glows from its rubber outsole to its Kurim-reinforced upper. 

Although it’s the newest Ja 3 to leak, the Halloween style has plenty of upcoming company. On Tuesday, Nike previewed its upcoming holiday ’25 basketball line which included the Ja 3 NY vs. NY and Ja 3 EYBL. Both of those colorways feature graffiti marks hand-drawn by Morant. 

Morant’s Nike deal was announced in 2019 and is reportedly a multiyear, multimillion dollar agreement. In 2023, the Memphis Grizzlies star was the subject of controversy after repeated gun-related social media incidents. All the while, Nike stood by him. “We are pleased that Ja is taking accountability and prioritizing his well-being. We will continue to support him on and off the court,” Nike said in a June ’23 statement.

The Nike Ja 3 Halloween is currently expected to be released from Nike’s e-commerce store and select Nike Basketball retailers on Oct. 21 for a retail price of $140. The sneaker has a style code of HV9923-700.
