Tension gripped the communally sensitive Ramganj area of Jaipur on Saturday evening after a clash broke out between two communities following an alleged incident of eve-teasing. The confrontation escalated in Babu Ka Tika locality, leading to stone pelting from both sides.

According to initial reports, an altercation began after a woman was allegedly harassed by members of one community.

This soon turned into a full-blown clash, with people from both communities confronting each other and hurling stones.

Several individuals sustained injuries in the violence, though the exact number has not been confirmed by authorities. The situation remained tense for some time as the altercation triggered panic among locals.

Police personnel rushed to the spot upon receiving information and managed to bring the situation under control. Security has since been heightened in the area to prevent any further flare-ups.
