Now, Ronit Roy revealed that not only Saif, but Kareena Kapoor Khan was also attacked shortly after that. For the unversed, Ronit Roy’s security agency has been hired by Kareena and Saif for their protection. Ronit recently revealed that Kareena was attacked too, after Saif.
Ronit Roy reveals Kareena Kapoor Khan was also attacked after Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing incident took place
Ronit Roy recently sat for an interview with Pinkvilla’s Hindi Rush, wherein he revealed that Saif Ali Khan was returning from the hospital, and there was a huge crowd everywhere. However, Kareena was returning to her home when her car was slightly attacked, leaving her scared. The incident happened due to the gathering around the car, which ended up leaving her car shaken. It was only that moment when Kareena called Ronit and asked him to bring Saif back home. By that time, Ronit’s security had already been launched for Saif’s protection, and the police also helped. Recalling the same, Ronit Roy revealed:
“Saif was returning home after being discharged from the hospital. There was a huge crowd and media everywhere. When Kareena was also heading back home from the hospital, her car was slightly attacked. So she got scared. Since there was media around, people also got too close, and her car was shaken a bit. That’s when she asked me to bring Saif home. So I went to pick him up, and once he reached home, our security was already placed, and we also had strong support from the police force. Now, everything is fine.”
In the same interview, Ronit Roy shared that after the attack, he did a recce at Saif Ali Khan’s home and found out that the security measures were not in place. He further stated that he advised his security to focus on a few matters to ensure one’s safety, which eventually increased the security arrangements.
Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing incident
It was in January 2025, when an intruder broke into Saif Ali Khan’s apartment in an attempted burglary. Saif, to save his family, jumped into a fight. During the same time, Saif sustained some serious injuries near his spine and neck. A knife even reportedly broke and lodged deep near his spine. Such an incident left everyone shocked to the core.
Saif was admitted to the hospital for five days, after which he was discharged. Following this, Saif hired Ronit Roy’s agency to buff up the security. Talking about the incident, the actor told ETimes that he never believed in security as he hated to be surrounded by anyone. After the incident, he believed that, even for a while, someone who is in need of security should have to be guarded. Talking more about the same, Saif shared:
“It’s sad. I never believed in security. Hate to have people around me, but it needs to be there, for a while at least, I guess. It wasn’t my time to go. Maybe I’m meant to do a few more good films… have some more nice times with family and friends. Do some more charity!”
Talking to Mojo Story, Kareena Kapoor Khan also talked about the incident. The actress revealed being traumatised by such an incident. She said that seeing someone in her child’s room, especially in a place like Mumbai, left her terrified to the core. She further revealed that she continues to struggle with this even now.
