Nicky Hilton Rothschild Trades Maximalism for Sculpted Ease in Brunello Cucinelli City Heels at Wimbledon

After back-to-back appearances in statement footwear, Nicky Hilton Rothschild shifted gears at Wimbledon — this time opting for sculpted restraint in over surrealist scale.

On Saturday, the designer and socialite arrived at the All England Lawn Tennis Club for day 13 of the tournament wearing Brunello Cucinelli’s Nappa leather city heel, a pared-back silhouette with just enough visual structure to carry the look. The $1,400 pump featured a low, molded block heel, softly pointed toe and shiny tonal strap cut high across the instep — a shape that walked the line between polish and proportion, rather than overt trend.

She styled the heel with a white-on-white Brunello Cucinelli look that played to the shoe’s architectural lines. The cropped two-button pinstripe blazer, done in a cotton-linen blend, brought tailored structure to the upper half, while a silk and acetate crêpe cady skirt in ivory moved with ease and cut away at the ankle to show the full shoe profile.

A taupe structured mini bag and tortoiseshell cat-eye sunglasses completed the look. Her jewelry included a chunky gold bracelet, which came from her recently launched brand Theo Grace, which centers around customizable fine pieces designed to layer subtly into everyday wear.

The shift toward sculpted minimalism comes on the heels of Hilton Rothschild’s more experimental footwear moments. Earlier this month, she wore Marc Jacobs’ upturned surrealist platform pumps to the designer’s fall 2026 runway show — a silhouette pulled from Jacobs’ ongoing exploration of exaggerated doll-like proportions. In May, she stepped out in Manhattan wearing scalloped cutout ballet flats from her French Sole collaboration — a more literal callback to childhood nostalgia. Taken together, the trio of looks suggests a focused rotation: shoes that nod to different eras and moods, but always center form.
