Kate Middleton once again turned to Gianvito Rossi for a key moment in her royal calendar, stepping out in the Italian designer’s Ribbon Sling 85 pumps at Wimbledon 2025. Attending the women’s singles final on Saturday, the Princess of Wales chose the nude suede heels, a rewear from her archive, to finish off a bespoke pale yellow pleated dress by Self-Portrait.

The shoes feature a pointed toe, slingback strap and mid-height stiletto heel measuring approximately 85mm (3.3 inches). Crafted from a soft nude suede, the style leans slightly more open and delicate than the Gianvito 105 courts she often favors — a fitting choice for a summer appearance on Centre Court.

This isn’t the first time Middleton has relied on Gianvito Rossi’s neutral suede styles for public engagements. Just days earlier, she wore a similar pair, the classic Gianvito pump in Praline, during the French state visit to the U.K., coordinating with Queen Camilla and Brigitte Macron in matching beige heels. In June, she stepped out in light beige suede Gianvito 105s for the Order of the Garter service, also paired with a Self-Portrait ensemble.
Middleton styled the Ribbon Sling pumps with a belted Self-Portrait dress featuring a structured jacket bodice and floaty, accordion-pleated skirt. A purple bow pinned to her chest honored the traditional colors of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, where she serves as royal patron.

She accessorized with several repeat pieces, including her Halcyon Days Maya Torque bracelet in aquamarine, Cartier Trinity earrings, and her Cartier steel bracelet watch. New additions included the Anya Hindmarch Neeson tote in Chalk Capra leather and Ralph Lauren sunglasses.
Middleton has been a fixture at Wimbledon since becoming patron of the All England Club in 2016, often presenting the championship trophies. This year, she congratulated Poland’s Iga Świątek after a historic final against American Amanda Anisimova, the first U.S. finalist since Serena Williams in 2019.
