Joey King attended the Women’s Singles Final at Wimbledon on Saturday in a full Ralph Lauren look, anchored by the brand’s Alexandrea Burnished Sandal in RL Gold. The handcrafted heel, made in Italy from burnished full-grain calfskin, featured braided leather straps across the toe and heel, lace-up ties with tassels and a 4-inch stiletto base. The open-toe silhouette tied at the ankle with tabbed ends, giving the formal summer shoe a textural finish.

The sandals were styled with the Sienna Day Dress, also by Ralph Lauren. Made from washed charmeuse in a muted moss tone, the sleeveless dress included princess seams through the bodice and a slight flare below the knee. The fabric’s subtle sheen echoed the tonal leather of the shoes, while the dress’s high neckline and full hem allowed the sandals’ lace-up detailing to remain visible from multiple angles.

Accessories were minimal. She wore RL Kiera sunglasses in solid beige and a Tigers Eye ring by Tessa Metcalfe, finished in silver with gold “nails” — a signature detail from the London-based jewelry designer. To complete the look, King carried a matching Ralph Lauren Small Shoulder Bag in RL Gold calfskin with saddle stitching and a tabbed strap. Hair and makeup were handled by Ilham Mestour and Polly Osmond, respectively, with styling by Jared Eng.

The Wimbledon appearance comes less than a month after King wore Tod’s clamp-bar loafers at Montblanc’s “Let’s Write” event in Milan. That look, also styled by Eng, featured white leather flats with a rounded toe and polished hardware. While the loafers grounded a textural spring look built around pleated khakis and an olive knit, the Ralph Lauren heels at Wimbledon signaled a shift toward refined occasionwear with the same attention to tone and craftsmanship.
The burnished finish and braided detailing of King’s sandals also echoed recent summer footwear trends, including Chiara Ferragni’s appearance in Dior’s rope-tie sandals at a beach event in Marbella. Like Ferragni’s flat, tassel-tied pair, King’s Alexandrea heels balanced formality with a handcrafted feel — a choice consistent with Ralph Lauren’s current seasonal accessories, which emphasize artisanal construction and tonal depth across its day and evening collections.
King is currently in London filming Practical Magic 2 and recently debuted a new red hair color for the role.
