However, on July 3, 2025, the identical twins took to their Instagram handle and announced that they are parting ways. The sudden announcement of their split came as a shock to their fans. Days after announcing a split, the twin sisters, Surabhi and Samriddhi Mehra, popularly known as Chinki and Minki, are coming back with a bang. On July 10, 2025, ZeeTV released a promo of their upcoming reality show, Chhoriyaan Chali Gaon, featuring the sister duo, Chinki and Minki. In the promo, the popular duo are joining hands again and setting the stage on fire with their age-old banter. A particular statement from the promo, won our hearts. One of the sisters shared how strong their bonding is when they work as a ‘jodi’. In her words:
“Hum dono saath mein bohot zyada strong hai.”
When Chinki and Minki parted ways as a ‘jodi’
Taking to their Instagram handle, the sister duo announced that they are parting ways as a ‘jodi’. The twin sisters shared that although it has been an emotional moment for both of them, they have decided to embark on a journey as individuals. Sharing the picture note, Chinki and Minki also extended gratitude to people for showering them with so much love. The caption can be read as:
“Grateful for everything we’ve shared and excited for what lies ahead. Keep cheering for both of us with your love and blessings.”

The upcoming show, Chhoriyaan Chali Gaon, is a TV reality show that will feature a beautiful blend of the glamour world and rural life. The show’s concept revolves around female celebrities who lead an urban life, step out of their comfort zones and adjust themselves to village life. According to a report by India Forums, female celebrities will be given tasks such as cooking meals on a chulha, farming, and other activities typically practised by rural people. The shooting location for the show is set up in real life in Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier, the show was titled Goriya Chale Gaon, but later it was changed to Chhoriyaan Chali Gaon. Ever since the show was announced, there has been a lot of speculation about the contestants participating in the show. However, a report by Just Showbiz confirmed the final contestants who will be seen on the show. The female contestants on Chhoriyaan Chali Gaon, include Sana Makbul, Maera Mishra, Aishwarya Khare, Isha Malviya, Chahat Pandey, Aamna Shariff, Nyra Banerjee, Dolly Javed, and twin sisters, Chinki and Minki. The show is being produced by Banijay Asia. However, the premiere date and time of the show are yet to be announced.
