Here’s something exciting for agriculture and space enthusiasts alike. ISRO, in collaboration with IN-SPACe and academia, has announced a brand new short-term course on how space technology can be used in agriculture. The certificate course is set to run from July 27 to August 1, 2025, at Amity University, Noida, and registration is open till July 11.
The course, titled ‘Essentials of Space Technology in Agriculture’, is open to academicians, industry professionals, researchers, graduates and postgraduates — basically anyone interested in understanding how satellites, remote sensing and space applications can transform farming. However, final-year students are not eligible.
ISRO COURSE FEE AND DETAILS
The fee for the course is Rs 15,000, which includes food charges. Accommodation is available on request at Rs 900 per day inside Amity University campus.
All participants will need to take a mandatory quiz on the final day, and certificates will be awarded to those who pass.
Registrations must be completed through the IN-SPACe portal after making the payment on bharatkosh.gov.in.
