MOHALI: Punjab Police has arrested an ex-Armyman, Gurpreet Singh alias Guri alias Fauji, for sharing classified Army information with Pakistan’s ISI, AIG Ravjot Kaur Grewal said Wednesday. The accused, a resident of Ferozepur district, has been in jail since April in a narcotics case after being caught with 1kg heroin, reports .While in judicial custody, Gurpreet allegedly came in contact with men working for ISI operatives. Using his military background and network of ex-colleagues, he passed on classified documents and strategic details related to the Army. These include information on troop deployments and operational strategies, said police.
