Kim Kardashian is bidding adieu to Demna‘s Balenciaga era by wearing one of his creations on repeat — the pantaboot. Kardashian made a surprise guest appearance on the runway at Balenciaga’s fall 2025 couture show, which is Demna’s final show as the brand’s creative director after 10 years.

The reality star was spotted arriving ahead of the show, wearing a stark white halter dress that featured a plunging sweetheart neckline, leaving her back exposed aside from a slim strap across the center of her back. The long, figure-hugging dress featured a high slit in the front, which helped reveal her boots.
The Skims cofounder was wearing the Balenciaga pantaboot in white, which featured an elongated pointed toe, a 110mm arch, a tone-on-tone covered heel and a black outsole. The pantaboot is a hybrid garment combining leggings and pointed-toe stiletto heels. Demna created the style for Balenciaga’s spring 2017 collection and became a signature of his second womenswear runway collection for the brand, as well as a staple in Kardashian’s wardrobe over the years.

To honor his last week with Balenciaga, Kardashian has been spotted skipping around in Paris wearing the boots in different colors, from Barbie hot pink to the classic black pair. She shared a photo of herself to her Instagram Story wearing the black pair, writing that she would be “pantabooting” in honor of his last show.
After wearing Balenciaga around Paris, Kardashian walked the runway show modeling look nine, which was a formfitting lingerie-like slipdress, a fur coat and satin cream pointed pumps. The look was styled with High Jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz, which included a pair of diamond earrings Elizabeth Taylor once wore.
Kardashian has been a frequent Balenciaga collaborator, working closely with Demna since his start with the brand in 2015 becoming his muse and a brand ambassador. The “All’s Fair” actress also made a cameo in the fall 2022 couture presentation and wore the brand at major events like the Met Gala in 2021.
Wednesday marks Demna’s final day with Balenciaga, as Pierpaolo Piccioli begins his new role as creative director on Thursday. Piccioli, whose first Balenciaga collection will be unveiled in October during Paris Fashion Week, was previously the creative director at Valentino. Meanwhile, Demna, who has held his position at Balenciaga for the past decade, will become the new artistic director of Gucci.
