Reebok and Angel Reese have pulled back the curtain on the much-anticipated Angel Reese 1, which marks the WNBA star’s first signature basketball shoe. While additional information, including a launch date, remains under wraps, fans now have a first look at the collaborative creation.

An official release from Reebok explains that the sneaker “is designed to pay homage to her culture-driving energy and style while being grounded in innovative performance basketball design.” It’s further described as “a signature experience around who she is and how she moves, blending performance, cultural edge and personal narrative.”

The sneaker will debut in a colorway called “Diamond Dust,” which showcases iridescent hues. Reese models the shoe in a series of photos, modeling her distinctive, glamorous style. She pairs it with a Reebok ensemble, including a metallic silver bralette, and accessorizes with bamboo hoop earrings and a sparkling “R” pendant necklace.

Prior to her first signature shoe with the athletic brand, Reese rolled out the Angel Reese x Reebok Engine A, a basketball-ready shoe, which was released in June in a pink and burgundy colorway. They have also collaborated on prior shoe and clothing collections.

Reese was honored as the 2024 Style Influencer of the Year at Footwear News Achievement Awards in December. “I’m 22 years old, I’m still figuring life out, but this is just the beginning,” Reese said, while accepting her honor.

Reese joins other WNBA stars with signature shoe deals, including Nike-backed A’Ja Wilson Nike and Puma star Breanna Stewart.
