Payal Rohatgi, who is married to the wrestler, Sangram Singh, has resigned from her position at his charitable foundation. However, she even penned a cryptic note, hinting at trouble in their paradise. While Payal didn’t share what exactly happened, she called her move influenced by personal reasons. It is worth mentioning that Payal and Sangram often made headlines for their marital dispute, which the former shares on her YouTube channel.

On July 8, 2025, Payal took to her Instagram handle and posted an official document of her resignation. In the document, Payal officially announced her resignation from the position of Director of the Sangram Singh Charitable Foundation, effective immediately, due to personal reasons. Along with it, Payal mentioned how the distance is important for peace. She even tagged the post with a unique hashtag ‘Ladki Hoon Lad Sakti Hoon’. She wrote:

It is worth mentioning that Payal Rohatgi has unfollowed her husband, Sangram Singh on Instagram, while the wrestler continues to follow his wife from his IG account. As soon as the post was shared, netizens flooded the comments section. One user wrote, “Sangram bhai ko unfollow kr diya kya.” Another one commented, “Another Divorce in Bollywood?” A second netizen wrote, “@payalrohatgi for reasons better known to you. Last year, Payal made headlines by recording her ugly fights with Sangram Singh for her YouTube channel. In one of the videos, Payal was recording her husband, Sangram’s reaction while she was behind the camera. She asked him if that is the way a man talks to his wife in his family. She even dragged his family and said that their only business is to be in a ghunghat and give birth. While it all sounds too negative, Sangram was trying his best to shut her mouth by taking it lightly. She said:
“Tumhare ghar mein aurato ke sath aise baat ki jaati hai. Tum log padhe-likhe nahi ho theek hai bt aise baat ki jaati hai.”
When Sangram told her that she was misbehaving, Payal retaliated and brought up her husband’s background. Not only this, Payal further shared that he dared not taunt her with the comment that she could not bear a child. She said:
“Gao mein sab ghunghat wali aurate hi padi hui hai tumhare, unka kaam kya hai ghughat karna or bacha paida karna aur khana bana. Waisi hi aurat utha late na apne liye. Aur mujhe taunt mat marna, mujhe taunt mat marna ki tu bacha nai paida kar skti.”
In another YouTube vlog, Payal Rohatgi revealed how Sangram Singh doesn’t want to adopt, while he had said that he would adopt a child with her on a reality show. She added that it might be due to his family pressure, as they have low thoughts about genetics and family lineage. Payal revealed:
“Saying adoption on a reality show, it wasn’t what he meant in reality. And if his family is pressurising him, is really sad. Ap kya apne genes kr rahe ho, apke brother ke bacche hai, apke sister ke bacche hai. Apke khandan ki family tree aage jaa hi rahi hai. Hum toh aisa soch hi nahi rahe.”
