It has been more than 15 years since Diff’rent Strokes actor, Gary Coleman, passed away, and speculations related to the involvement of his ex-wife, Shannon Price, do not seem to end. She has continued to maintain her stand of being innocent. However, recently Sharon had undergone a voluntary lie detector test, and she failed to pass the same. There has been a lot of debate related to Sharon’s behaviour before and after Gary passed away.
Gary Coleman’s ex-wife, Shannon Price, takes a polygraph test, fails in the same when question is asked about his demise
For the unversed, Gary was 42 when he suffered a fall at his house in Utah on May 28, 2010. Officially, his death cause was stated as an intracranial haemorrhage. It was declared that his death was accidental. However, during his demise, Gary’s ex-wife, Shannon, was present. Now, she had taken the Lie Detector: Truth or Deception in the A&E upcoming series. Shannon shared that her whole life, she had everything working against her and hoped for a good outcome from the polygraph test. Now, former FBI agent, George Olivo took Shannon’s test and asked her if she had physically caused the fall of Coleman. She said no, and the lie detector test said, ‘deception indicated’. Olivio shared:
“You failed the exam regarding Gary’s fall. There’s two things I know for sure, Shannon. One, you were not completely honest with me yesterday during this polygraph section. And two, the other thing I know that’s 100% certain, is that there is more to this story that hasn’t been told. And your body on that lie detector test spoke loud and clear, there’s something that caused you to fail this test.”
Shannon Price gets asked about her relationship with Gary Coleman
Olivio in the test began by asking Shannon if she ever felt stuck with Coleman during their relationship. The findings were not conclusive, and Olivio shared that she did not pass the test. Shannon proved her point by saying that she would never hurt Garry, as his life was pretty fragile. She referred to the congenital kidney defect that the actor was born with. Shannon and Price got married back in August 2007; however, in 2008 they got separated, but were staying together. It was in May 2010 when Gary got a brain haemorrhage, and Price, back then, claimed of found him in a pool of blood after he fell. Shannon was never pressed with the charges of a crime. When Shannon in the lie polygraph test if she deliberately did not help Garry, she refuted the claims which made the officer say. Shannon said:
“I would never hurt him in that manner or that sense, because his life was so fragile. Daily life was a struggle for him, and I would never want to hurt him.”
Shannon did share that she was hoping for a good outcome from the lie detector test, as not everyone was perfect in the same but she was hopeful that things would work out in her favour. She claimed to be a normal girl who faced an unfortunate situation.
