John Abraham, known for maintaining a low public profile, often stays away from the spotlight unless he’s promoting a film. However, the actor is now making headlines, not for a project, but for a personal allegation made by someone once close to him.
Bobby Darling accuses John Abraham of ghosting her during difficult times: “How can someone be so rude?”
Trans actor Bobby Darling has claimed that John Abraham, once a good friend, has distanced himself and ignored her in a time of need. In a recent interview with Bollywood Thikana, Bobby opened up about their friendship and how it has seemingly faded away.
Recalling how she met John through actor-model Riya Sen, Bobby said, “He’s very humble, down to earth and sweet. But he doesn’t talk to me anymore, nor does he respond to my messages. There was a time when the three of us would go to Prithvi Theatre to have chicken dhansak, a Parsi dish. He liked it a lot. We also used to go to movies often. That time has passed.”
Sharing her disappointment, she added, “What hurt me the most was when I texted him a year or two ago saying I wished to meet him—he didn’t even reply. How can someone be so rude? He could have at least acknowledged the text.”
Bobby further expressed that she has been going through a rough patch and was hoping for some support. “You interact even with rickshaw pullers… but when an old friend, who once supported you, reaches out, you should at least send a reply. Even if it’s just, ‘I’m busy, we’ll meet some other time,’ at least say something,” she stated.
As of now, John Abraham has not commented on the matter.
On the professional front, John was last seen in The Diplomat, released in March this year. He will next be seen in Tehran, though the release date is yet to be announced.
