Horrific footage has emerged showing the ravine where Caitlyn Jenner’s manager and pal, Sophia Hutchins, died in an ATV crash on Wednesday morning.
A KCAL News chopper aired the footage on Wednesday afternoon, before Hutchins was identified, showing a blue ATV resting atop an upside-down vehicle that had previously crashed in the same spot.
Hutchins, 29, was driving the ATV near Jenner’s pricey Malibu condo when she reportedly collided with the bumper of a moving car, causing her to be thrown from the ATV and down the 350-foot ravine.
Emergency personnel pronounced her dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
Hutchins met the former Olympic athlete-turned-reality star, 75, through their mutual hairstylist in 2015.
“We met through our hairstylists. He was doing my hair one day and was like, ‘I’m going to a photoshoot after this, something with Caitlyn and MAC. And Caitlyn would like to meet you,’” Hutchins explained in an interview.
Hutchins, who was also a transgender woman, appeared in several episodes of Jenner’s reality show, “I am Cait.”
In 2017, she moved in with Jenner and became her manager.
Despite living together, Hutchins always firmly denied that the two were a couple.
“It was never romantic,” she claimed in a 2018 interview. “Never sexual. It was very much friends but I understand why people perceived it that way. We never addressed it, and that was part of the problem.”
The Pepperdine college grad went on to describe their relationship as “more parental.
“And Caitlyn’s like, I gotta sign off on him. It’s very parental, very protective. We’re family. It’s an interesting family situation. All of my family is.”
Three years later, Hutchins once again reiterated that she was not romantically involved with the former “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star.
“There’s no hanky panky,” Hutchins told People. “I feel like I’ve been saying that for the past five years.”
Hutchins did become close with Jenner’s sprawling family and even starred in an ad campaign for Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS shapewear brand in 2020.
Besides working for Jenner, Hutchins also launched a sunscreen mist company named Lumasol SPF.
Jenner has yet to release a statement on her friend’s shocking death.
