Actor Maniesh Paul has sparked curiosity about his next project with a striking new look. On Tuesday, he shared photos that presented him in a completely different light from his usual charming and witty persona. Interestingly, the actor also mentioned filmmaker Karan Johar in the caption of his Instagram post, sparking speculation that the two could be collaborating on an upcoming film.
In the photos, the 43-year-old is seen sporting a bold, bald-and-buzzed look, complete with intense vibes, dark sunglasses, and a smouldering expression. Without revealing any details about the project, Paul wrote in the caption, “Kisi ne mujhe kiya con! Mere baalon ko kiya gone! Kya hoga mera karma, Decide karega dharma. (Someone conned me. They disappeared my hair. What will be my karma? Dharma will decide) @karanjohar what say? (sic).”

Filmmaker Karan Johar responded to the actor’s post by commenting, “Hmmmm! Excited about what lies ahead Maniesh!! Waise look toh kamaal hai (Otherwise the look is great) (sic).”
Actor Varun Dhawan commented, “Excitedddd for this oneee I won’t tell (sic).”
Actor Iqbal Khan said, “What a crazy transformation, Maniesh I know what project this is for, so I will let your fans know directly from you once you want to. All the best in advance. Rock and roll (sic).”

Looking at the photo, it seems like the actor’s transformation is for a gritty and darker role. It is yet to be seen if the actor will be playing the role of a villain in an upcoming project.
Meanwhile, the actor recently wrapped filming for ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’. The much-anticipated romantic comedy is directed by filmmaker Shashank Khaitan and backed by Dharma Productions.
Maniesh will also be seen in David Dhawan’s untitled comedy entertainer. In the film, he will be sharing screen space with Varun Dhawan.
