The actor who is best known for his work in Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, while Tejasswi for Naagin 6, in an earlier interview with India Today, shared:
“If I write any poetic message, it is because I want to share it. I listened to it on the radio and wrote it. This has no relation to Teju (Tejasswi). Why will there be? She is my girlfriend. I will not write even for my ex.”

Karan once in an interview with News 18 Showsha, revealed being unfazed by marriage-related questions as their game was going strong. In his words:
“To be honest, if I start taking pressure, then I won’t be able to outperform. I am an artist and I am somebody who has to make some very critical decisions in my life,” he told us and then added, “I have to worry about so many other things rather than the pressure. No offense but I cannot live my life if I take this pressure. (I am) Wise enough to know when what should happen. Neither the relationship has changed. We are pretty happy, sorted.”
