Skoda Auto India has achieved a historic milestone, recording its highest-ever half-yearly sales with 36,194 units sold between January and June 2025. This remarkable performance marks a staggering 134% growth compared to the first half of 2024, propelling the company to the top 7 automotive brands in India. Skoda’s previous best half-yearly sales were recorded in 2022, with 28,899 units sold.
The brand’s robust sales performance was driven primarily by strong demand for its volume-focused models, the Skoda Kylaq, a sub-4 metre SUV and the Slavia sedan, both built on the India-specific MQB-A0-IN platform. These two models have continued to gain popularity for their combination of European build quality, driving dynamics, and value-for-money proposition tailored for Indian consumers.
The surge in sales underscores Skoda Auto India’s growing appeal, driven by its diverse portfolio of SUVs tailored to meet varied customer needs across the country. Complementing its SUV lineup, Skoda continues to strengthen its sedan legacy with the popular Slavia. All koda vehicles are equipped with advanced direct-injection turbocharged engines, ensuring a blend of performance, comfort, and safety for an exceptional driving experience.
Skoda has significantly expanded its footprint, growing from 120 touchpoints in 2021 to over 250 in 2025, with plans to reach 350 by year-end. This expansion reflects the company’s dedication to delivering a seamless customer experience nationwide.
Additionally, every Skoda car now comes with a complimentary maintenance package for the first year, delaying routine service costs until the second year or 30,000 km, whichever comes first.
Skoda’s portfolio in India currently consists of the Kylaq, Kushaq, Slavia and the Kodiaq.
