Mukesh Ambani’s all three children, Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani, are all well-settled in their personal and professional lives. Anant, who is the youngest son of India’s richest businessman, has been appointed as Executive Director in Reliance Industries. While everyone is looking at his new roles, all eyes are on his salary, which is going to be a whopping Rs. 10 crore to Rs. 20 crore annually.

Anant Ambani, the eldest sibling of the Ambani family, is set to assume the position of Executive Director at Reliance Industries Limited. According to reports, the company has shared the update with its shareholders through a postal ballot notice on June 29, 2025. Anant will receive an annual salary of Rs. 10 crore to Rs. 20 crore. It is worth mentioning that in the position, he would also receive a profit-linked commission along with a range of executive perks, as he is being prepared for his new role at Reliance Industries Ltd. The official notice stated:
“The salary, perquisites and allowances shall be in the range of Rs. 10 crore to Rs. 20 crore per annum.”
It is also worth mentioning that Anant would receive a fully furnished accommodation with a generous house rent allowance, including utilities such as gas, electricity, and water. Not only this, the company is also offering paid travel for him and his family. The role also offers company cars, communication expenses, medical reimbursements, and security and staff support.

For the unversed, last year, Anant and his elder siblings, Akash and Isha, joined the Reliance Industries Limited board as non-executive directors. However, they were not given any salary. They received a sitting fee of Rs. 4 lakh and a commission of Rs. 97 lakh each for the financial year 2023-2024.
It is worth noting that Anant is the first of the Ambani siblings to be promoted to Executive Director. He will be taking forward Reliance’s energy business, which will extend its oil refining to its growing renewable energy ventures. Anant is also responsible for overseeing Reliance’s major capital projects, including the oil-to-chemicals segment and the new energy gigafactories.
