YouTuber MrBeast’s confession about working through sleepless nights to create what he calls his “greatest content” has drawn admiration and a wellness warning from ‘age-reversing’ CEO Bryan Johnson.

Jimmy Donaldson, better known online as MrBeast, has never hidden the intensity behind his viral content empire. But his recent post on X gave fans a closer glimpse into just how far he’s pushing himself.

“I’m probably averaging 15 hours a day of filming this month and getting less sleep than I ever have in my life (I didn’t even get to go to bed last night), but my god, these videos are the greatest content I’ve ever filmed,” he said.

Take a look at the post here:

The post didn’t go unnoticed. It has clocked over millions of views and drawn praise from loyal fans who admired his work ethic. But not everyone was applauding.

Among those who reacted was Bryan Johnson, the anti-ageing entrepreneur known for spending millions to slow down his biological clock. Johnson, 47, offered a pointed piece of advice: take care now, or regret it later.

“Jimmy, in time, you’ll transition into making content, battling the ideas of society. Be sure to properly nourish yourself now so that you’re sufficiently vibrant and durable then,” Johnson said in response.

Johnson, who made his fortune after selling Braintree to PayPal in 2013, has since become known for his intensive health routine and mantra: “Don’t die.” But even he seemed to suggest that MrBeast might want to tone it down before the grind takes a toll.

While Donaldson didn’t respond publicly to the advice, the exchange struck a chord with users online. Several agreed with Johnson’s sentiment, while others pointed out that burnout in the creator economy is increasingly normalised, and rarely addressed until it’s too late.

MrBeast’s fans may be eagerly waiting for his next “greatest video,” but the health warning from Bryan Johnson served as a reminder that no amount of views is worth a system crash. After all, even the internet’s biggest creators need rest.
