A member of the Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin team also posted a heartfelt note summarizing the journey of the show. The message read, “finally done for the year 4 years 9 month Everything was very different, I saw a lot of actors, I saw the people there, it was a great experience and I will always remember and miss all these things Will always do I didn’t think we’d all walk this far so soon, but let’s meet again soon I am very grateful to all of you. This was my second home for me and I remembered these things,” further confirming the closure of the long-running series.

The show, which originally launched with Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh, and Aishwarya Sharma, initially revolved around the love triangle between Virat, Sai, and Patralekha. Over time, the narrative shifted focus to new characters including Reva, Ishaan, and Savi. In an effort to revive the show’s declining TRPs, the makers introduced Shakti Arora as Ishaan and later brought in Hitesh Bharadwaj as Rajat Thakkar.

Despite several attempts to refresh the storyline with the introduction of new characters like Param Singh, Sanam Johar, and Vaibhavi Hankare, the show’s ratings did not recover significantly. The makers later reintroduced Bhavika Sharma as police officer Savi Thakkar in another effort to boost viewership. However, after several narrative changes and cast revamps, the makers have now decided to end the show. If reports are to be believed, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin will air its final episodes this month on Star Plus, officially closing its nearly five-year-long journey.
