“I think I’m proudest of the fact that I grew up in front of everyone,” Avika said. “My life has never been a secret. People have seen everything—the highs, the lows—and I think they love me because of that honesty.” Avika’s journey has not only been about her on-screen roles but also about the public’s continued emotional connection with her over the years. She recalled moments when strangers recognize her and approach her with familiarity. “There are aunties who just walk up to me and say, ‘You’ve changed our lives.’ Some even get emotional. It’s so pure. So real. That’s a blessing.”
She acknowledged that the nature of her fan support is different from typical celebrity admiration. “There are very few actors in the world who get this kind of belonging from their fans. I’m not just watched—I’m accepted as one of their own.” The connection with her audience continues as she prepares for her upcoming project Pati Patni Panga, where she stars alongside her fiancé Milind Chandwani. Avika notes that this role holds personal significance. “It’s like life coming full circle. I get to share not just a new story, but also a piece of my real life.”
Looking back at her career, Avika maintains that she has stayed grounded throughout her journey. “I feel like I’m only getting better with time. I’ve never pretended to know everything. I do what I do, and people see the truth in that.”
