The information was first shared by the journalist, Vickey Lalwani, on June 28, 2025, at around 1 a.m. Later, the doctors of the hospital confirmed Shefali’s passing. While it was reported that the actress died due to a cardiac arrest, police have said that the reason behind the actress’s demise is still under investigation.

The actress mentioned that while walking away from a toxic relationship isn’t easy, she could do it as she was independent and was making her own money. Shefali Jariwala could be quoted as saying:
“It is very important to understand that you are not being appreciated. Not every kind of violence is physical. There is a lot of mental violence that also happens, and you are very unhappy in your life. I think, one of the reasons why I could make the decision for myself was because I was independent. I was making my own money.”

It was only a few hours before her demise that Parag posted a photo from the gym, and as per their security guard, the couple was seen only a day before the actress died suddenly. After Shefali’s demise, Parag was seen outside the hospital, where he was seen in a devastated state. In another glimpse, Parag was seen in their building, and he looked simply broken. After a while, Parag reached out to Cooper Hospital, where he, with folded hands, requested the paps not to hog him. He could be quoted as saying:
“Please aisa mat karo na tum log.”
Shefali Jariwala’s wish for 2025, and she wanted to adopt a baby girl
Just months before her demise, Shefali talked about her wish for 2025. She revealed that she wanted to master her skills and work better while enhancing her skills. The actress said that she had been in a very happy place in her life, and was looking forward to connecting more deeply with her spiritual self and spreading the encouragement around. She also wished to adopt a baby girl. Talking to BollywoodLife, she once said that she wanted to be a mom to a baby girl, but the adoption process was not easy.
