A Danish influencer has unintentionally amused the internet after mistaking superstar Amitabh Bachchan for the maker of her favourite papadam (a popular Indian snack).
The mix-up occurred in a video where the content creator, Frederikke, praised a packet of papad she had bought in Nepal. However, she was unaware that the man on the packaging was one of India’s most iconic actors.
“This guy makes the best papadam,” Frederikke said in the clip, pointing towards a photograph of Amitabh Bachchan printed on the papad packet.
In her caption, she added: “Who is this man — and why does he make the BEST papadam I’ve ever had?! I bought this papad back in Nepal and haven’t found it anywhere in Copenhagen. I’m running low. If anyone knows where to get this or who this legendary papad guy is, please help.”
