She has also held positions such as Research Associate at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and Consultant at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Priya has been on this professional journey for 15 years and has shown tremendous commitment towards the global problem of climate change and environmental conservation.
Aman Gupta said that Priya Dagar supported him till he was 40
Recently, in an interview with India Startup News, Aman Gupta opened up about his struggles in trying to establish his company. Starting out as a young entrepreneur, he would work for 16 hours a day and also missed out on his oldest daughter’s childhood. However, while he was making these sacrifices, Priya gave him all the support. Aman said that during those difficult times, their household was kept afloat by Priya’s salaries. This went on until he was forty. In the interview, Aman Gupta revealed:
“Till I was 40, meri wife ke paise se ghar chalta tha. I’m a very hardworking guy, but I’ve seen the ups and downs in life. I’ve burnt the midnight oil and everything to be where I am today. I don’t remember much of when my daughter was growing up because I was busy working.”

Once Priya had decided to end the relationship, and was leaving by train. Aman was encouraged by his father to win her back. So, he rushed to the train station, and the couple was reunited. In 2024, while celebrating their anniversary, Aman Gupta commissioned an animated video of him and his wife in their special DDLJ moment. Aman and Priya’s little family includes two daughters, Miraya and Adaa. The couple also made another iconic appearance in 2023, when they walked the Cannes red carpet together. This was the couple’s Cannes debut, which also marked the first time an entrepreneur from India walked the red carpet at the film festival.
In Cannes 2023, Priya mesmerised everyone in a shimmering silver-toned slit dres. Aman had donned a dapper outfit with a black-hued velvet suit and a pair of his signature glasses as accessories. Priya, meanwhile, wore a choker and her simple earrings added stars to her look. Aman Gupta posted their picture from the film festival and penned down:
